Synopsis:
New Delhi 1999. While journalist Meera reports from the crisis-ridden region of Kashmir, a murder happens in India’s capital. Jessica, a young attractive model trying her hand at bartending, is shot dead at a celebrity party. Her crime is that she refused to serve a drink after closing hours. The culprit Manish, son of a prominent politician, shoots the woman, while inebriated by a deadly cocktail of alcohol and sense of entitlement. With 300 witnesses present at the party, Manish looks all set to go to prison. However, with the help of his influential father, witnesses are silenced and the culprit and his friends are pronounced innocent. Jessica’s sister Sabrina loses her trust in Indian justice, but the feisty TV reporter Meera drums up every resource at her disposal to punish Jessica’s murderer. She wants truth to prevail over money and power.
