For submitting a film to the 9th Indian Film Festival please fill in the Entry Form and send it via mail or e-mail to:

Submission Criteria
To be eligible for consideration, all films must meet the following requirements:
1. belong to the category feature film, short film, documentary or animation
2. either be produced in India or have a reference to India
3. be available to screen as a composite film print in 35mm, Digi-Beta, Betacam-SP or HD-Cam
4. not have been previously screened commercially in Germany nor been available on the Internet prior to 22th July, 2012
5. be in their original language with English or German subtitles.
6. have been completed after 1st July, 2011.
Selection / Nomination
All submitted films will be watched and rated by an internal selection committee. This committee will select the films that will be screened at the festival.
In a second step the selection committee will determine films running in competition.
Submitted films will be noticed by end of May wether they will be screened on the festival and if they are running in competition
