To be eligible for consideration, all films must meet the following requirements:

1. belong to the category feature film, short film, documentary or animation

2. either be produced in India or have a reference to India

3. be available to screen as a composite film print in 35mm or Digi-Beta or Betacam-SP

4. not have been previously screened commercially in Germany nor been available on the Internet prior to 25th July, 2010

5. be in their original language with English or German subtitles.

6. have been completed after 1st July, 2009.
